The pneumatic suction cup fundamentally employs a state-of-the-art vacuum adsorption system,which is what makes it so capable in its work. It uses compressed air as a power to rapidly extract air from the contact surface of suction cup and workpiece, which forms a negative pressure environment. The negative pressure results in a strong adsorption force, which does not allow the workpiece to move out of the position. This is unique and allows intact surfaces without scratches,dents or other damages to the material-an important requirement for example if glass, metal sheets or simply high value sensitive materials are involved which also as pneumatic clamping tools they cannot process anyway.
